Avatar Grove is probably one of the most stunning locations on Vancouver Island that one can visit; nestled near a logging area just beyond Port Renfrew. The old growth forest is home to “Canada’s Gnarliest Tree”, as well as several other ancient giants that measure multiple meters in diameter! A little while back, the lovely Katie and Alex joined me on an adventure to Avatar Grove for their engagement photos. Needless to say, I had the most wonderful time getting to know this playful pair, and the best days always end in pizza.
