Back in the Spring, I had the pleasure of getting together with the charming and energetic duo, Katrina and Mike, for their engagement session. They chose Gowlland Tod Provincial Park for their engagement photos, owing to the history that they share visiting the park together, which added an emblematic dimension to the images. It was a placid overcast day in March, and while the leaves were only just beginning to bloom, the forest was rich in colour with evergreens and moss. The distinct scent of recent rain was in the air. We explored down a narrow and muddy path that led us to a clearing in the woods, which we took advantage of before wandering down the main trail to the beach at Tod Inlet.
Katrina and Mike celebrated their wedding a few months after in late-July at the Gardens at the HCP in Victoria BC, and I was thrilled to be in attendance as their wedding photographer. I’m excited to share photos of their wedding in a future post!
